Friends of Chordoma Foundation
Chordoma Foundation and its Mission
When the Chordoma Foundation was established in 2007 in the United States, there was virtually no research being conducted on chordoma, and there were no infrastructures to make it possible. Since then, thanks to the extraordinary commitment of everyone affected by this disease, a vibrant scientific research community has been formed, resources have been gathered to conduct meaningful research, and clinical studies have advanced to 11 therapies.
At the beginning of 2022, the Chordoma Foundation opened a laboratory, which quickly became a powerful tool for progress. The Chordoma Foundation Labs are making it easier and more efficient to test new therapeutic ideas from around the world, leading to rapid expansion of clinical studies on chordoma.
For the first time, there is a path to much better treatments for patients with chordoma, treatments that do not just slow the disease but have a real chance of allowing patients to live a full life. To achieve this ambitious goal at a pace that is meaningful for patients facing this disease today, the Chordoma Foundation is advancing a comprehensive research path through multiple complementary initiatives that cover every stage of treatment development.
With the right investments, new treatments are just around the corner.
Your support can pave the way for innovative treatments, improved outcomes for patients, and a brighter future for those affected by chordoma. Anyone can contribute to the cause and ensure a lasting impact by funding research.
