Fondazione Bogliasco's mission

The Bogliasco Center offers an intimate and intellectually stimulating environment on the Italian Riviera, near Genoa, where a diverse range of Fellows, each engaged in a different field of the arts and humanities, finds complete freedom to focus, reflect, and open up to expansive creative thinking. Through daily meals, carefully composed groups of 8-10 Fellows learn to communicate with each other beyond personal and professional boundaries, often establishing new collaborations.
Upon leaving the Study Center, the experience gained during the residency continues to enrich the work of the Fellows and their community: fostering greater appreciation for the arts and humanities, expanding knowledge and aesthetic experience, and amplifying engagement among global citizens.

How to help

The Bogliasco Foundation's program has been partially supported by grants from U.S.-based foundations and tax-deductible donations from U.S. individual donors who share our urgent call to support the future vitality of the arts and humanities – disciplines that have, in large part, defined human existence. Thanks to the partnership with Fondo Filantropico Italiano and the Transnational Giving Europe Network, the Bogliasco Foundation can now receive tax-deductible donations not only from donors residing in Italy but also from those residing in Belgium, France, Germany, Poland, and Spain. As the Bogliasco Foundation works diligently to create an endowment that ensures the long-term sustainability of the program, we are deeply grateful for your support.
