New Support from the Luciana Fund for the Lugo Community and Hospital

Just two months after its latest donation to support the Umberto I Hospital in Lugo, the Luciana Fund — established through Fondo Filantropico Italiano — has allocated new financial resources to benefit the Lugo community, with special attention to organizations supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population.

Thanks to the Luciana Fund, two new vehicles were purchased for Lugo’s Casa della Carità and Il Tondo social center in June. These organizations play a vital role in assisting the local elderly, offering essential services and opportunities for social engagement. The new vehicles will enhance the efficiency of their daily activities, enabling them to reach more individuals and respond to the community’s needs in the best way.

A tangible act of solidarity, discreet yet impactful, that continues to make a real difference. This initiative follows the donation made in May to Lugo’s Umberto I Hospital of a new MRI machine and a laparoscopic tower, now further expanded with the recent addition of three new ultrasound scanners.
