On March 10, 2025, the prestigious Villa Necchi Campiglio hosted the event "Private Banking and Philanthropy," organized by AIPB (Italian Private Banking Association). The central theme of the event was the social role of private banking and how to create value for the broader community.
The panel featured distinguished speakers, including Andrea Ragaini, President of AIPB; Marcello Gallo, President of the Italian Philanthropic Fund; Ilaria Lenzi from FAI's Bequests and Donations Office; Stefano Loconte, founder and trustee of the Italian Art Trust; and Andrea Vicari, Founder of Vicari Avvocati. The discussion was moderated by Stefania Pedroni, Chair of AIPB's Technical Committee on Wealth Planning & Private Insurance.
Marcello Gallo contributed to the conversation with insights on philanthropic tools and the growing importance of philanthropic intermediation in wealth and financial planning. He emphasized how Donor-Advised Funds and highly professional advisory services are increasingly valued by donor-clients, offering flexible, personalized solutions and enabling well-structured philanthropic initiatives.
