Event: Entrepreneurial Strategies for Creating Value Locally

The event of today, October 24 2023, is part of Fondo Filantropico Italiano's initiatives to raise awareness among entrepreneurs and their trusted professionals about the opportunities available in Italy today to do philanthropy. During the event, in collaboration with Deloitte Private and Studio Bonamini in Ca' del Moro (Verona), the focus was the condition of philanthropy in Veneto and some entrepreneurial initiatives supporting the local area.

The research The Philanthropic Experience of Wealthy People in Italy, carried out by Fondo Filantropico Italiano and FINER Finance Explorer, highlighted a growing interest in philanthropy advisory in our country, also connected to the recent evolution of nonprofit regulations and the increasing importance of ESG metrics. Specifically it emerged that, in order to navigate the multitude of choices and the complexities of philanthropy, wealthy individuals and entrepreneurs are increasingly turning more and more to their trusted professionals (accountants, notaries, lawyers and financial advisors). The goal of the event was to delve into this context and reflect on the tools available today to meet the growing demand for guidance towards strategic and efficient solutions, especially the opportunities that trusted professionals must be ready to seize to contribute to the future development of the sector.

During the two roundtables, guests from the business world and representatives from the Professionals Association of Verona took part:

- Ernesto Lanzillo, Deloitte Private Leader
- Marcello Gallo, President Fondo Filantropico Italiano
- Simonetta Schillaci, Director Fondo Filantropico Italiano
- Massimiliano Bonamini, Managing Partner Studio Bonamini
- Massimo Gianolli, CEO Generalfinance and President La Collina dei Ciliegi
- Stefania Pedroni, Head of Wealth Planning Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking
