Your Dream is Possible

The WE Dream Fund aims to support young, motivated women from Calabria in accessing some of the best universities in Italy through scholarships. This initiative is a true example of giving back: it was established by Emilia Fazzalari, an Italian-American entrepreneur of Calabrian descent, and her husband Wycliffe Grousbeck, driven by their strong belief that education is the key to a future full of opportunities. The fund is committed to providing young women from Calabria facing financial hardship with a real chance to achieve their dreams.

The Scholarships

With a budget exceeding one million euros, the program aims to award 16 scholarships for studies at Bocconi University and Luiss University over the 2024-2027 academic years. The goal is to enable young women to continue their education so that their talent and potential are not hindered by financial difficulties.
The scholarships cover tuition fees and, depending on financial need, may also include full or partial accommodation costs for the entire three-year degree program.

The WE Dreamers Community and the Future

The WE Dream Fund seeks to create a community of young women who support each other throughout their studies and, later, in their careers and personal journeys.

Additionally, WE Dream has launched an awareness campaign in high schools across Calabria to inspire young students with confidence and ambition. The initiative encourages them to aspire to Italy’s top universities and shows them that “There is a way” to turn their dreams into reality.
