Covid-19 Solidariety Response Fund
During the emergency, the WHO Foundation (World Health Organization) created the “COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund,” into which more than €11 million in donations from various countries were channeled through the partner foundations of the TGE network, such as Fondo Filantropico Italiano. As a result, the most affected countries by the pandemic were supported.
Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) and International Giving
Transnational Giving Europe allows companies and individuals who wish to support non-profit organizations outside their own country to benefit from the tax advantages of their country of residence. This is made possible through the collaboration of 19 partner foundations across Europe (including Switzerland and the UK) that facilitate donations abroad and from abroad among member countries.
As the sole Italian partner in the network, Fondo Filantropico Italiano supports Italian donors who wish to contribute to valuable social initiatives internationally.
