Philanthropic initiative named after the renowned Trentino tax expert
The Bruno Frizzera Philanthropic Fund has been established through the initiative of the Frizzera/Stefenelli family, in memory of the renowned Trentino tax expert who passed away in 2012. Bruno Frizzera, born in 1917 in Voralberg, spent his entire life in Trento until his death in 2012. He is recognized as one of the leading tax experts of the post-war era and a true point of reference for professionals in the field. Above all, Frizzera was a disseminator, leaving a lasting mark in Italian professional publishing with his “Guida Pratica Fiscale,” which later became an extensive and comprehensive series published by Il Sole 24 Ore as “Sistema Frizzera.”
The family, eager to keep his memory alive, continues the philanthropic project to perpetuate the legacy of values and teachings that Frizzera passed on, so that they can be put to use for the community through non-profit initiatives.
In particular, the Bruno Frizzera Philanthropic Fund aims to implement concrete actions in three areas: education, dissemination, and solidarity. The Fund begins its projects by offering scholarships, funding academic research, awarding excellence prizes, and initiating financial education programs. Special attention is given to women, with the goal of progressively reducing inequalities and providing equal access and opportunities for knowledge, regardless of gender or social background.
The Fund’s initial initiatives, focused on access to education and promoting academic excellence, are in collaboration with two key institutions: Il Sole 24 ORE Formazione and the University of Trento.
The Bruno Frizzera Philanthropic Fund is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) established and managed by Fondo Filantropico Italiano ETS.
